“The project which began in October 2009 and which has no time limits. It involves a continuous variety of different activities carried out in former agricultural premises. First of all we started taking care of a neglected old orchard without the owner knowing. Gradually other circumstances brought along other activities within the premises. A part of the premises is used as a dump and some of the rubbish is being destroyed illegally by being burnt. Our presence in the orchard often creates tension between us and the owner of the premises and his employees. Sometimes we have to hide to avoid contact with them. In spring 2010 we removed the rubbish and we are trying to continue to take care of the orchard and its fauna throughout the year whenever we have free time.” (JD)
