Action Painting

Remake of American Expressionists by a lesson of gymnastics

Five large canvases and a video were created as a result of an event trying to alleviate the trauma of action expressionists. The project was perceived as a presentation of the creation of a painting. Three gymnasts were exercising on gym equipment according to my instructions and music. Canvases sized 2.5 x 4 meters were placed on the area where they were exercising. The gymnasts were dressed in yellow, plastic suits and they had foam impregnated with coloured paint attached to them and during their exercise the paint stained the canvas.
