Color

Color explores randomness as a creative tool embedding results of my continuous research in color and our ability to perceive and distinguish colors in various forms of interpretations and environmental conditions. On one hand, they give the audience freedom of interpretation; on the other hand they purposely overwhelm viewers with its density, color intensity and complexity of endlessly repeated variations. The large scale of the drawings intends to surround, envelope and overwhelm the viewer.

Each drawing is a completely unique result from a computer program I wrote that uses a random function to generate drawings that are partially beyond my explicit choice and control.
