Uncertainty, absurdity and the depiction of a special moment of a story. These are the qualities we encounter in the video I Will Get You Out and Chop You Up in Mid-Air. The action takes place in a sunny garden, with well tended flower beds everywhere, blossoming geraniums, and of course the indispensible garden dwarf. The manifestly dramatic and action-filled events have already taken place. The end. In the middle of the garden lies the bloody body of a man in a pre-death convulsion, while an elderly man sits in a gazebo reading letters about a homosexual relationship that nobody should have known about. But what has happened? Who are these men? Were they in a relationship? Who is the murderer and who the victim? Was this a crime of passion? Or of hate? It is up to the viewer to answer these questions. The video ends with footage of the half-dead body crawling around the garden in the last throes of life. However, Ther manages to turn even this detailed shot into an aesthetic game with rhythmic movement.
