Neurotic2009

Percossi displays his archive of objects that were not originally conceived as artworks. Thein creator is not Eugenio the artist, but Eugenio´s nervous, errant hands which unaware - during a conversation, waiting for someone or in solitary dawdling - fold articles of everyday use, casual leftovers and fragments. They roll them, crumple them, pleat them. He shows possible forms of human creativity, not necessarily needing to take the shape of planned work. He shows activities, human obsession, possibilities of self-realization rather than deformed objects, target of the author´s mood and careless creativity. (DOMINIK LANG)
