Nursing Guerilla is a group promoting nursing in public space founded in 2013 thanks to the initiative of Kateřina Olivová. One of its main goals is to collectively support women in freely nursing in public, and to address its social taboo. For Kateřina Olivová, Nursing Guerilla also represents a space for exploring how nursing can intertwine with art or activism. An example of such activity was the event in the town of Vrchlabí called For Helena (2015), during which Olivová embraced group nursing as a form of purgation, as well as a protest in relation to the racially motivated murder of Helena Bihariova (†1998).
