Fiery door

At 4pm, once inside, I shut the door to the gallery and asked someone for help. I placed an iron slab on the floor near the door and sprinkled a layer of solid inflammable material on it. I set it alight and then walked over to the opposite wall, took my shoes off and had my eyes blindfolded. My assistant banged the door shut with a nail without my knowing exactly where. I turned round walked across the room to where the audience were assembled, I stepped onto the metal sheet, felt the door with my hands and broke off the nail. Then I opened it, went out and shut the door behind me.
