Vojtěch Fröhlich most often works with performance and procedural situations. For the group exhibition Telepathy or Esperanto? he created a system for the distribution of fruit squashes. In various locations of the exhibition the viewer was able to fill a cup with a drink that was a mix of all sorts of flavours. In Postmix Fröhlich emphasises the exposure of the very structure of the distribution of the lemonades. The project is not the work so much as the system that supplies it. The artist is conceptually building on the theme of alternative movement through space and the unveiling of less visible internal structures. He is also reacting to the overall theme of the exhibition, namely the universal language Esperanto, by using industrially produced squashes available worldwide, which thus reflect the almost limitless circulation of the unified products of the globalised world.
