installation, 48 different used chairs
"The site specific installation consists of 48 different used chairs arranged in three circles. The pattern corresponds to the ground plan of the Rundling housing estate in Leipzig, Germany, built in 1932 in the spirit of the avant-garde ideas of functionalism. For the installation chairs from the local sources were used, largely from the several last decades. Chair is understood here as a fundamental symbol of housing; the individual design of each chair contrasts with the severe geomerical structure of their arrangement as well as with the rationality of modernist architecture."
