Outreach

The central motif of this large­format photography is a strange empty space in the middle of the city, a rectangular black crater, in which another skyscraper could be placed as a missing piece of a brick­box. Contrasting to this space is a figure of a black darter, who aims towards this emptiness and the distance he is going to overcome with his arrow shows a certain magical appeal between rationality and irrationality. The darter personifies a unity of aim and will, awaiting and connection, as well as an uncertain development of the situation contrasting to exact calculation.
